Majlis College Students Donate 121 Units of Blood in a Remarkable Community Service Initiative

The Department of Social Work, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS), Red Ribbon Club (RRC), Blood Donors Kerala (BDK), Malappuram–Tirur Chapter, and the Students' Union, successfully organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Majlis Arts & Science College (Autonomous).
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from students, faculty members, and volunteers, resulting in the collection of 121 units of blood, making it one of the institution's most successful humanitarian initiatives.
A total of 139 individuals registered for the camp. After the mandatory medical screening, 121 eligible donors generously donated blood, while 43 first-time donors and 9 women donors actively participated, reflecting the growing spirit of social responsibility among the student community.
The event aimed to create awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and inspire young people to contribute towards saving lives through regular blood donation. The success of the programme stands as a testament to the collective commitment of the Majlis community towards humanitarian service and community welfare.
Majlis Arts & Science College extends its heartfelt appreciation to Blood Donors Kerala, the organizing committees, volunteers, medical professionals, and every donor whose selfless contribution made this noble initiative a grand success.
"Every drop donated is a gift of life. Together, we made a difference."
