Utkarsh 2026 – Language Week Celebration: A Festival of Languages

The Department of Languages of Majlis Arts & Science College (Autonomous) is delighted to organize Utkarsh 2026, the Language Week Celebration, under the inspiring theme "A Festival of Languages." The event is dedicated to celebrating India's rich linguistic diversity and fostering an appreciation for multilingualism, literature, culture, and meaningful communication.

The inaugural session will be graced by Dr. Mohammed Kutty Kakkakunnan, Principal, Majlis Arts & Science College (Autonomous), who will preside over the function. The keynote address will be delivered by Abdul Assis K.P., Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Government College, Chittur, Palakkad, whose insights are expected to enrich the celebration and inspire students to value languages as bridges of knowledge, culture, and human connection.

Utkarsh 2026 will feature a variety of literary, cultural, and interactive programmes designed to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and cross-cultural understanding among students.
