The National Service Scheme (NSS) Units of Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Valanchery, donated wheelchairs to the University of Calicut as part of their commitment to community service and social responsibility.

The wheelchairs were formally handed over during a function attended by Dr. P. Rasheed Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor, University of Calicut; C. P. Hamza Haji, Syndicate Member, University of Calicut and Secretary, Majlis College; and Mr. Vijayakumar, NSS Programme Coordinator, University of Calicut.

The initiative reflects the NSS motto, "Not Me, But You," and demonstrates the institution's dedication to promoting inclusivity, accessibility, and humanitarian values. The donation aims to support individuals with mobility challenges visiting the university campus and to enhance accessibility within the university community.

Faculty members, NSS volunteers, and representatives of Majlis College participated in the programme, making the event a meaningful expression of compassion, service, and social commitment.
