The Department of Computer Science at Majlis Arts & Science College, established in 1995, offers a range of programs to meet the demand for skilled computer professionals. Initially starting with the BSc Computer Science program, it later introduced the MSc Computer Science program in 2001 and the BCA program in 2013. Today, the department offers two undergraduate and one postgraduate program. With a focus on theoretical computer science, software, and application development, the department aims to produce technically proficient professionals with global competence. It has wellqualified faculty and maintains three well-equipped computer labs with over 125 computers. The department organizes seminars, webinars, and workshops on emerging technologies such as IoT, Robotics, Ethical Hacking, and Blockchain to keep students updated with industry trends.Additionally, it encourages peer teaching, extension activities, start-up initiatives, and industrial internships for holistic skill development.
