In his inaugural address, President Ram Nath Kovind emphasized that 21st-century India should align with both traditional values and the advancements of the fourth industrial revolution. This revolution is characterized by emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, machine learning, blockchain, nanotechnology, and genomics. Leveraging artificial intelligence has the potential to significantly enhance civilization, provided we ensure its beneficial use.
Technology and contemporary teaching methods are not only motivating learners and fostering self-efficacy but also reshaping education systems. If we continue on our current path, we may face undesirable outcomes. Traditional rote learning and repetitive tasks are being replaced by higher-order thinking skills in the 21st century. Students must cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, synthesis, analysis, reasoning, comprehension, application, and evaluation skills.
Our primary aim is to foster creativity beyond the confines of the curriculum. Academic pressures should not stifle the natural expression of creativity; instead, they should stimulate profound creative insights. The success of the Majlis Model in higher education underscores the importance of collective effort and commitment.
Expressing gratitude is invaluable and enriches our lives without limitations. We extend our deepest appreciation to the college management committee, students, faculty, parents, alumni, former principals, and staff members for their significant contributions. Best wishes to all in their future endeavors.
