The Department of Computer Science, Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous) organized an interactive session titled "Data Science in the Real World: Careers, Tools & What Companies Actually Want" for the students of the B.Sc. Data Science programme.

The session was led by Mohammed Shefin C.T., Founder & CEO, FutureWise Edventures Pvt. Ltd., and an experienced AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science Trainer. Drawing on his industry expertise, he provided students with valuable insights into the rapidly evolving field of data science and the skills required to build successful careers.

The resource person discussed the latest industry trends, widely used data science tools and technologies, career opportunities, and the expectations of leading companies during recruitment. Students also gained practical guidance on developing technical competencies, creating strong portfolios, and preparing for internships and placements in the AI and data science domain.

The interactive nature of the programme encouraged students to engage in meaningful discussions, clarify career-related queries, and gain a better understanding of the real-world applications of data science.

The session reinforced the department's commitment to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, preparing students for successful careers in emerging technologies.
