The Women Development Cell (WDC), Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous) is organizing a Women’s Day Celebration as part of the global observance of International Women’s Day. The programme is designed to create awareness about women’s health, empowerment, and personal development.

The event will feature an awareness session titled “Her Strength – Empowering Women Through Health Awareness”, led by Dr. Shibila N Hussain, Consultant Psychologist. The session will focus on the importance of mental and physical health, self-confidence, and resilience in women’s lives.

In addition to the awareness session, the celebration will include interactive activities such as a quiz competition and a reel-making competition, encouraging students to express their creativity and perspectives on women empowerment.

Through these activities, the programme seeks to inspire students to recognize the importance of gender equality, self-care, and the collective responsibility of building a supportive and inclusive society.
