The Department of Education at Majlis Arts and Science College (Autonomous) was established in 2025, following the National Council for Teacher Education’s (NCTE) invitation to launch Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) in multidisciplinary institutions, as notified in 2024. In response, the college submitted its application and proposal to NCTE.

The programmes are recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi, and affiliated to the University of Calicut. The Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP) commenced from the 2025–2026 Academic Year.

As per the approved sanction, the college offers one unit (50 seats) each for the ITEP in Science, Arts, and Commerce disciplines.
