About the seminar
Literature, language, and literary studies are undergoing significant transformations in an increasingly visual and digitally mediated world. From cinematic adaptations and transmedia storytelling to artificial intelligence in literary production and language learning, emerging technologies are reshaping how literature is created, interpreted, taught, and experienced.
The seminar, “Reimagining Literature: Visual Cultures, Artificial Intelligence and the Future of English Language Pedagogy,” seeks to provide a platform for scholars, educators, research scholars, and students to explore these evolving intersections. It invites critical engagement with literary adaptation, visual culture, artificial intelligence, digital humanities, multilingual learning, and innovative approaches to English language and literature pedagogy.
Through paper presentations and scholarly discussions, the seminar aims to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue on the opportunities, challenges, and ethical implications of technological change in literary studies and education.
