An OBC Committee has been functioning in Majlis arts and science college Since 2010. The committee constitutes a coordinator, three faculty members and student members. The committee investigates and monitors all the matters relating to the safe guard provided to the students of OBC classes as per the rules and regulations under the constitution. The committee ensures that the earmarked seats for OBC category are filled as per the Government rules during the admission procedures.

The committee ensures inquires into the specific complaints with respect to deprivation of rights of OBC Classes. The committee also evaluates the progress of the development of the students of this category from time to time.
