Career Guidance Cell and Placement Cell
The Career Guidance and Placement Cell at Majlis Arts And Science College functions under the direct control and directions of the Principal of the college. It has a college level coordinator as member secretary and department coordinators as members of the cell.
The objective of the cell is to identify the talents among the students of the college and nurture and harness them further and offer guidance to choose a bright and right career.
The Career Guidance Cell organizes seminars, meetings Motivation programmes, pre- recruitment orientation, screening test for recruitment etc. to help the students effectively plan their future. The main function of the cell is to invite reputed companies to the campus to conduct campus interviews. The students participated in various coaching Programmes targeted at various competitive examinations. In addition to the classes by our students dean on career opportunity and personality development, experts from various fields are invited to interact with the students to enhancer their awareness on career possibilities.
In 2019, 300 students got training and 103 students got placement letters. 12 companies participated in the campus recruitment drive. In 2020 , 16 companies came to campus and 4 students got selected in spite of Covid-19 outbreak. In 2021, training was given to outgoing students
